Brad Scott has made it through the last rounds of interviews for the North Melbourne coaching position.
Congratulations.
I'd like to wish him good luck.

I would be sorry to see him go but think him for the great job he has done at Collingwood in advance just in case.

on a positive note, out steps scott and in steps bucks, one midfield coach for another :) good luck to brad, hated him at brisbane but love him as our coach ;)

Collingwood statement on Brad Scott
_______________________________

The Collingwood Football Club wishes to congratulate Brad Scott on his appointment as senior coach of North Melbourne.

Brad will be released from all responsibilities at the club immediately. He will not be replaced as the club will rely on its existing team of assistant coaches and support staff.

Collingwood senior coach Mick Malthouse said: “Brad’s been an outstanding and valued member of our coaching team for the past three seasons, and will no doubt make the next phase of his coaching career a success. I wish him all the best.”

Brad joined Collingwood at the end of 2006 after he retired from playing at the elite level that year. He served as a development coach in 2007, then moved into an assistant coaching role, as opposition coach in 2008 and midfield coach in 2009.

Congrats to Brad, met him a fair few times at training, stand up bloke, which is not what I would have expected when I watched him play..

Good Luck mate.....

I don't like that hes been released of his responsibilities immediately, either he had a work load, and we'll have a huge hole to fill, or he wasn't really doing so much, thus, it wasn't a loss, 2 weeks out from the finals.

Makes me feel a little awkward as well. Hope it doesn't affect the teams performances in the finals
