Saviour it Sainters!

Amazing effort by your lot.

I remebered back in 2001, my lot came up just short against Essendon on ANZAC day and everyone called it our "coming of age."

Well Sainters, tonight was your coming of age.

Soak it up!

Anther congrats from another pies fan!

Great win! The supervisor at my work went over to melbourne to see the game, No doubt she would be bloody rapt by the win!

Well done Sainters!

Thanks guys. We really set ourselves to make an impact against your mob a few weeks ago, but you were too good on the night. We will definately savour this victory, and hopefully this can set up our season. This isn't just a win for St.Kilda, it's a win for Victoria. Hopefully the Pies can have a good win against the Dees on Monday. We have to get some of the Victorian sides really pushing for spots in the finals. Too bad Essendon lost. Anyway, that was a very satisfying win. I'm going out to get p*ssed :D

No doubt the Lions were down on man power tonight. They had a few missing before the match and were virtually left without a bench for most of the second half. It was a great effort to come back the way they did. However, St.Kilda was also heavily depleted. We lost Knobel in the first seconds of the last quarter, leaving only the 190cm Maguire to handle the ruck work, and also lost our best defender in Penny in the third, and our captain Hamill half way through the last. Also we have Hudghton, Koschitzke, Ball and Thompson missing from our best line up. In the end it was a great win, and it has the chance to set up the rest of our season. However, we can't hang our hat on just this one win. It will be worthless if we don't back it up over the remainder of the season. But for tonight, I am going to cherish this great victory.

yes yes. Congrats sainters. I thought the Syd/Ess match was gonna be a good one, but bugger that, I was screamin at the TV cheerin for you lot.

Now all I need is for my lot to get over the top of Port Adelaide...

Outstanding win by St.Kilda.
Brett Voss was bloody awesome for you guys, if he keeps playing with the confidence he had tonight he's going to turn into a pretty good player for the Saints.

Yeah it was a great win. Voss was tremendous! It's the best game I've seen him play for us. He was everywhere in the backline. The lost M. Voss, but we had more than a couple of players out too. Fantastic stuff, Saints!

Holy ****! I really wasnt expecting that!

And what made it even more sweeter was the fact that I was watching it with a house full of Lions fans. It was a beautiful thing! :D

Thanks for all your good wishes.

It is really nice not to be thinking of promise & potential but rather just to be able to look at the score(board) & know that that in itself is a statement.

I'm wrapt with the way we took the game up to brisbane but do acknowledge that they were very unlucky with injuries.

Never-the-less, the better side on the night won & that still feels great a day later.

Go Sainters!!
