What I'm highly impressed by is that GC youngsters' skills are rapidly improving at an astonishing rate, and our style of play is refreshingly youthful and aggressive, no fear.

Imo, for sure we'll win some more games thru the horror stretch of tough games coming up on our schedule. People will be surprised, suddenly seeing how quickly our youth brigade turn into stars with aplomb.

I love how the two bottom teams are the teams you beat. Not saying that means the victories were any less valid but its like beware the loss to the GC!

That's really good work! There's a lot of time before the season is out to get a few more as well, despite the tough run coming up! But your first games at metricon are happenning soon - something else to be really excited about!

I wouldn't say the Power fell asleep as the reason we won. We were outplayed, but kept coming and coming, and eventually our superior skills, fortitude, will to win, and fitness over-ran the Power. The Suns kept coming, hitting the wall, breaking it open, the dam burst, powered ahead, battle of confidence/belief, and then in the dying minute we just held on. The missed goal at the end evident of the broken confidence/belief.

The Lions game was like you say, yes. We were more consistent and had the upper hand from start to finish against an opponent of equal ability, a genuine contest.

But i disagree that the Power's woes are about "falling asleep". I think it runs much deeper than that. It starts right in the core of the club, the board, admin, coaching, and works down and out and thru the players, the onfield play, the supporters.
