Could anyone help me I can't connect my DS to the wifi to play online because my wireless has the wrong security settings. My Wii connects fine but my DS just won't, can anybody help??

I'm considering just getting a Nintendo Wifi USB stick, will that be the easiest option?

you need to set your router wireless security to WEP encryption.....which can be alittle troubling because that has been broken years ago.

If a hacker (or your neighbour) is war driving looking for unsecure wireless connections......you might be in trouble.

probably best to set it to WEP when you're using your DS and changing it back to WPA/WPA2 when you're not.

I wouldn't bother buying the wifi USB stick.... as long as you don't leave your router with the WEP security settings you should be fine.

The PSP is supposed to support WPA encryption but for some reason I can only connect with WEP too.... >,>

When I try to change to WEP it always changes back and sometimes just stops my internet working altogether.

that sounds strange....

maybe you don't have the right WEP key set to your computer?

its kinda hard to give advice when I can't see your router settings :3

anyways I have to go home now.... >,>

good luck getting it working.....because mario kart DS is like Crack when played on wifi :)
