I would like to hear your controller smashing stories......We have all done it.

Coming first on the last lap and crash ?, Maybe you cant get past a certain level ?

Controller smashing stories......

My most recent was due to playing fifa online. I went down 3-2 in the 90th minute. A quick brain spasm, a few seconds smashing the controller and now I'm up for a new one. It still works but the side of the controller has pushed in and is just weird to hold now.

Fighting Tiny on some PS2 Crash Bandicoot game caused me to throw the controller into the ground with such force it bounced and shattered the light above me.

I've also punched and shattered my monitor screen fighting uh Demogorgon on Balder's Gate 2 I think it was.

Ah angry teenage years.

Although recently playing Dark Souls & Dark Souls 2 I've made my controllers rattle and need the buttons pushed back in place by twisting them in rage.

So I've still got issues, I just hide them better.

Not these days as i like to look after them.

When i was a kid though in the PS1 days, i was playing Crash Bandicoot and i threw my Dual Shock across the room and proceeded to chew on the joysticks.
 
I destroyed a few of these back in the day.

It seems I still have anger problems when playing the PS3 :p
 
I never have personally. Still mad about the time my brother broke our one good ps2 controller in about 2003, my parents bought a 3rd party one as replacement. Sad times. Ps3 and ps4 controllers set you back near 100 bucks, no way I'd be smashing one.

When I was about 16, me and a few mates were smashing beers at a mates, and, despite me never really halo, I absolutely dominated for about 2 hours, culminating in a mate smashing a control on the ground, which bounced up from the ground and knocked his bottle of scotch over, breaking that too. Hilarious in retrospect.
 
Never smashed one where it Completly broke and didn't work, but back in the early 00's I did use to give the old xbox controllers the old toss across the carpet or threaten to throw it lol.
 
Don't throw them at the risk of damaging other stuff around the room, but my only DualShock 3 has bite marks in it (AFL Live).

One of my 360 controllers got it but not from me.
When my now 6 year old dog was a puppy he decided to use it as a chew toy one night.
 
I remember being a tryhard in MW2. Got killed one off a nuke 3 times in one match. Joysticks were flying everywhere.

Indeed, i also had a large arcade stick for the commodore Amiga - looked really od, had a button on top of the joystick, but 2 other buttons that were arcade quality down the bottom at the base of it.

Curious as to how people got bite marks on their controllers.......... i never bit into mine. I only wore down the c64 joysticks, and went through a few nes gamepads where the d-pad wore out. I never threw them to break them, have had moments of frustration where i would pretend to bend them like a superhero bending a metal pole haha.

I used to throw the Xbox 360 controller in the air and catch it by the handle........ it killed time between loading times!! I never dropped it once, even the times where i launched it like a baterang.

Yeah, FIFA is the only game that gets me.

I have destroyed two controllers playing Ultimate Team Online.

It used to make me rage to the point where I traded in the game as I didn't want to be that angry!

It's funny, I play other games online such as NBA 2k14, UFC and AFL and I am mellow as a house cat.

Something about FIFA UT gets me...
 
FIFA 09. Some kid somehow beat me when I was 5-0 up. Beyond me as to how it happened but I as furious, especially after he messaged me having a laugh. :(

Cousins had just got a WII and the controller may or may not have slipped out of my hand playing bowling. Didn't hit the TV but didn't do the wall any favors.
