Is there a man next to you with a gun to your head forcing you to read this thread and then post your distaste for it? I would have thought that if the discussion doesn't interest you then you would simply not reply to it and disregard the thread all together...

I was wondering if the 'go Blighty' line had anything to do with young Jarrad Blight during his time at the club. Not sure how popular he was with the players but perhaps some sort of inside joke?

Yeah **** tradition...

Who cares what Harry Collier says... and all those players that played in the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's for the Black and White...

In fact instead of "Good Old Collingwood Forever" why don't they sing "Great Aged Collingwood for some time to come"... Who cares...

While we're at it I quite like the colour green. (Can we add it into the jumper somewhere?) I mean seriously who cares about the Collingwood traditions???

This has also been annoying me for ages. I always sing Cor Blimey and that was the way I was taught it.

I didn't know the story about Malcolm Blight saying our gameplan wouldn't win a flag. Would be nice to confirm this.

I have heard this the last few years and was sure it was related to a player we delisted - Jarrad Blight.

I thought Sidebottom, Beams and couple of the blokes around his age who played with him in the VFL probably introduced it into the song.
