I'm starting to think there is something going on behind closed doors down at Catland. Why would you not play Corey Enright? People can crap on about the GFC wanting to ease Corey back after injury but this is not the first time he has been overlooked at selection, it is beyond a joke. At this stage it is looking highly likely that he will be traded at seasons end which would be a tradgedy. The only other reason there could be for him not being selected is if he's told the club he wants to go home.

Enright Facts
Statistically, he was Geelong’s second-best player in 2003, collecting 414 disposals (second to Cameron Ling’s 522), together with 117 marks (second to Matthew Scarlett’s 134).

Averaging 15 possesions this season. Would be a lot higher if he got half a chance in the seniors.

A couple of strains of your thought process that that clashe with mine

I dont question the stats but just because he was what ever last year means little this year.A couple years ago Spriggs would have been right up there in stats as well, both he and Corey are probably a bit of a victem of the changing state of our football. Skills to maintain possession are now reguarded much higher than when both were drafted.

Why would the Cats not playing him help them if he wants a trade or if they want to trade him? He will be considered a V level player and his trade value will drop. For eg if Moloney had been just playing VFL with the odd game would he be worth more or less to trade?

Generally I hold no harsh opinions of any players on our list , I sure they are fine fellows and most have done their utmost to improve for themselves and the Cats (well mostly), but this modern era of football doesnot let you accummulate players . We have wealth in the midfield but we may need to cash some in to to increase our overall wealth

I think Enright isnt getting much 1sts games because of his kicking.

More to do with injuries I would have thought. He's only played the two matches in the seconds hasn't he, and both of those were straight after being out with injury. (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

But its 2004.You can't go picking players just because they were good last year.

He'll be back, but he justs been unlucky with injury this year.

No need to correct you are right, i got my whole thought process mixed up. But it is his kicking that makes him trade bait. However I love him backing back into packs taking overhead marks, id keep him.

Enright won't be traded. He is a very good player who will hit his peak in a a couple of weeks time. Just needs to come back into the side while he is in peak form.

Him being a late inclusion is now unlikely as he played VFL today. Who are the other emergencies? Id have thought Spriggs & Rahilly..both of them played too, who have i forgotten?

What about Haynes?

YES THE MAN IS BACK! hopefully corz has a gr8 game on sunday! but once again remove chambers from the bench...give his spot to tenace! even though the bench hasnt been finalised what's the bet chambers does play:o

If Moons niggling injuries continue expect Chambers to play

Shattered about Enright, I was really looking forward to seeing him play a full game. But looking towards next week.............could this be it? Could this be the return of David Spriggs?

I think he was close to playing this week.

Sanderson said on K-ROCK that he'd probably miss one more.

They spoke to the medicos on KRock and said that Ricco will definitely be back next week.

Bomber also singled out Charlie Gardiner as having a poor match.
