Corey was great, but I thought Hulmey was inspirational at the right times.

Yeah! Gotta love the Pup.
Thanks 35eye. Gee, Corey looked like the happiest bloke there and he sang the song with such gusto. He has had something to prove to himself and the football world in general and the preseason iinjury combined with the poor team efforts in the first two rounds were building a lot of frustration for him. And ..... he took a great overhead mark! Woohoo. Great to have a target finally and he did it without forward support from Whitnall who played in defence and Fevola who will have a long stint in the VFL.Originally posted by 35eye
Congrats on the win last night and well done Corza.
Pity about the.. errr... golden shower Corey copped singing the song back in the rooms.
I always thought I'd feel uneasy seeing him in a Carlton guernsey & celebrating with his new team mates but he looked so very happy last night and I'm proud.
I trust the media will get off the club's back now, but then they'll only find another team to insult which is never good.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

I know this thread was started as a result of his game against Carlton, but i must admit it was bloody hard watching him run around against us in a Carton guernsey yesterday. Thought he showed a bit in the first half for you guys and was sad to see him go off injured. You seem to have jinxed him as he didnt miss that much footy at North because of injury! Hope it gets better.
And to the barneys who ar ebagging him and saying i(round 4) was his best game in 3 years, what short memories you have. I wont blab on as its a Carlton forum, but what about his game against Essendon last year in "that" game for example? The guy is a champion and by year's end will show why he is such a big loss to us and such a good gain for Carlton.
