I will try to explain, hedge funds lease shares off of super fund (your money) for a short time then dump the on the market to drive down the price, when the stock tanks they buy them back at a cheaper price and gives them back to the super fund. It's a bit like betting the market will go down not up. Think GFC.Seen some video claiming something about protecting hedge funds and letting retailers take the hit?
I don't get how the world financial ecosystem works.
Reddit launch a campaign against these arse wipes and small investors jumped on board forcing the price up and hedge funds lost billions.
