Great video. Everyone should watch this and maybe people would calm down a bit and realise that if we open up, the world won't cave in.
Depressing at the end where he talked about why he moved from Thailand and how happy he was before this bullshit started. He looked hopeless.

NBA commentary just said the league are allowing fans in across the league later this month. NY "ravaged" by cases for a year included and we just killed the AO over less than a handful of cases

Absolutely ******* bewildering what we are doing

There's conflicting info coming out of Israel about a possible high number vaccine-related deaths. I can't find anything verifiable in a hurry, but it goes something like this: Israel has apparently been vaccinated more than most countries, if not all. Some reports say that overall mortality has spiked since the vaccine roll-out, with an obvious link to the vaccines. Not surprisingly, most mainstream sources say that it's either rubbish or a coincidence.

You should see the ones he did back in March last year, very prophetic.

Like i mentioned yesty, India v England playing out in India in front of fans. This country is a disaster and this crap will continue to happen all year with this idiotic 0 case policy and these trigger happy panicky state governments shitting bricks when someone gets sick.

AFLW going ahead gives you a massive indication about the upcoming AFL season, Andrews will keep shutting us down but footy will get deemed essential and be allowed to continue in front of empty stands, fully expect the AFL to skip town again.

What the actual fu**! This is everything that’s wrong with this whole pandemic! Conditioning the next generation, those poor kids. Worlds gone loopy.

This is a disgrace. Children's immune systems and brains are developing. Let them be and stop shoving warped ideology on them.

I cant see how the AFL gets a normal season in. WA borders being a joke, SA with the biggest overreaction covid has ever seen shows what will happen here next case, Dan is just a fu**head. QLD and NSW will likely be hubs at some point id guess
Forget AFL it's done in terms of normalcy. The days of rocking up on game day or a full house are gone. Once crowds are back it will be limited sections and track and trace.

PCR tests detect viruses and magnify. They're not designed to measure illnesses.
Genome sequencing measures a strain and severity. Trying to run down everyone with the sniffles and their contacts is a fool's errand.
Honestly some people think this is a movie. Just bizarre. I'm not kidding. People watch 24 or Contagion or 12 monkeys and think they're documentaries and they're heroes. Insane

The league are allowing fans to attend.
The government are allowing you to travel 5k.
The government allow you to have a certain amount of people in your home.
Just like in the 60s the government allowed black people to be free. etc
When will people realise our rights are not the governments to give and take away. They are ours. You are human not property not a possession. You belong to no one. You are accountable for actions and consequences but nothing else.
Honestly **** these people. Empty souls without conscience

Just turned on the cricket and what do i see, people in the stands at the India v England match and yet here we are in Victoria banning crowds at the tennis and AFLW because of a handful of people, this is what happens when you employ a 0 infection policy and hit the panic button everytime someone gets sick.
Yep, it’s not sustainable.

Here we have regional zones depending on number of cases. Yellow orange red, different restrictions apply at different number of infections. Not saying this is better, but it’s less random than blanket lock downs.

Heres a radical idea (which most on this board have already done anyway)
Instead of your health websites releasing case numbers and restirctions.

Release the scientific data. Release all the death certificates, who they were ages, co morbidities. Release all information on the virus studied so far. All papers all experiments. Release also the modeling.

Then let people make up their own minds. Or is that too confronting for these arseholes? To have people make their own decisions?

I was watching a livestream from the US earlier and they were laughing at the idea of stopping people over there from leaving their state like it was some kind of ridiculous idea that would never happen. Hello? Welcome to Australia :drunk:

We are now nothing but a dumping ground for all these ridiculous ideas. Our leaders are all sell outs.
Go into a foreign war that has nothing to do with us = great
Allow foreign ownership of our key infrastructure= come on in
Copy a communist lockdown model = pfffft we can do it way better
Track and trace = It's your duty
An Islamic style covering = Stone those who don't comply
Keep the British Flag and not bother moving forward with new ideas= It's Tradition
Debate and critique = That's for the right wing

Something something maybe we should focus on ourselves let's look at key infrastructure, property rates and foreign policy to deal with our interests. Come up with solutions unique to us like maybe lets look at not worrying about an Asian/ Northern European Virus outbreak and focus on an Australian Sustainable model................But not my franking credits, not my house, not my right to not mix with the dirty hoardes who may infect me. This country is currently pathetic.

Pathetic as well at how quick Aristotle and co were here to have a go at Tiger Toffee about defending himself from people questioning his mask choices, saying he shouldn’t pick on adults earning 21 dollars a hour, when the other side is berating school children earning 0 dollars a hour (since that matters)

Come in here guys. Take off the rose tinted glasses and admit that the other part of the debate has some horrible crackpots rather then accusing this side of the argument of the same and then running away like cowards and hiding in other threads when things change
Just stop listening to these idiots. Worldwide mortality is down across the board. 2020 < 2019 deaths. Even nursing homes less people in Australia died.
The data is in. This is at worst as bad as a flu season.
I'll take a Karen over a Dorothy any day of the week. Let the idiots natter amoung themselves. Let idiots like Andrews and Sutton pontificate. Live your lives. It ain't forever.

Every time I hear him say "hyper", "super strain" etc it always make me think of this.

Yes, he's shot his load way too early with the adjectives, so he's got no more ceiling room for the next "much worse" variant. He'll have to come up with something like that in the meme;:D Maybe "super-duper-hyper-mega-ultra-giga-extreme-horrifying variant"

Yes and not everything is reported.

Interesting comparisons with 1976 when the US rushed out a swine flu vaccine. What's the main difference between then and now?

That year, fears of a swine flu pandemic had loomed large, so President Gerald Ford had ordered an unprecedented mass vaccination of everyone in the United States. Investigation found that people under 50 years old had no antibodies to this new strain of flu.

With hindsight, it’s easy to see that the fears of the time were unfounded. The swine flu strain spotted at Fort Dix was not dangerous, and there would be no pandemic. Later, researchers discovered that benign swine flu strains had been circulating in the US population long before this one was identified at the military base.

This all sounds very familiar.

Could it be ...? the industry manufacturers announced that they had been refused liability insurance, effectively downing tools. They asked Congress to indemnify them, but were turned down. In July, the Ford administration agreed to bear the cost of defending lawsuits and asked Congress to pass legislation.

After months of negative media coverage, the Guillain-Barre reports brought an overdue end to the swine flu affair. Ford’s programme was suspended in December 1976. And since the US government had offered liability coverage to the pharmaceutical manufacturers that summer, hundreds of compensation claims from Guillain-Barre claimants followed for years afterward.

What else did they learn, which turned COVID 19 into a pandemic with devastating consequences of lockdowns and experimental vaccines unknown, for a corona virus already in the community and with an extremely low death rate for people under 70?

Hyper infectious and they cant find close contacts who caught it. How ******* dumb is the average joe to keep being afraid of this nonsense.
But but but the expert advice said it was 40 - 70% more infectious! Well Boris said it was 70% more transmissible!

Turns out this figure of 70% originates from a presentation by Dr. Erik Volz from Imperial College London. Yup, the same place that had models of how many people were going to die from COVID 19 that overestimated many hundreds of times, the actual numbers of deaths.

In addition to the meaning of the statistic being unclear, we also have issues with randomness and bias due to the way of sampling.

So the 70% figure that had been presented by Boris Johnson, which is the relative growth rate of the new virus strain, is not the relative infectiousness.

The 70% figure is more like a sidenote in the presentation. It was used to show that this strain grows relatively fast in the initial growth phase (and in other strains it is shown that this eventually decreases so this initial figure does not reflect the true relative infectiousness). It was not meant to be an estimate for the relative infectiousness.

The vaccine has not delivered enough answers for my liking at this stage......

1. Is it a lifetime shot
2. Is it yearly like the flu shot
3. How long before the shot loses it's potency
4. Is there a chance that those jabbed first will be less potent than those jabbed further down the line
5. What are the risks

Questions i will be asking if these clowns come a knocking on my door and when they can't answer the questions i will be saying so why would i take it then.

Good thing is it will be a fair while before they come a knocking so i get to sit back and study all the reactions to the vaccine, see if people were harassed into getting it, the government bullying etc.

Talking to people today that work in the health dep WA. I was trying to bait him telling him the security guy delivered a false positive and McGowan (greatest premier of all time) was just playing politics. His reply: IF it was a false positive and MM said sorry, I got it wrong then next time everyone wouldn't believe him and carry on as normal, we could potentially have a disaster on our hands. ME: so it was a false positive? HIM: I didn't say that!!! By the way his wife doesn't want to have the jab, a nurse.

I'll leave you to come to your own conclusions
