Yeah, as I posted before I know a few people OS that have had it but no-one here yet.

The people you know, do you know which one they had and if they had any side effects or reactions?

So apparently over 900,000 doses of vaccine have been administered here in Australia. Anyone know anyone who has had it? I don't know anyone, I some who were eligible but have chosen no to have it.

The vax seems a bit elusive, just like Covid

Yeah I know someone. He works in major Melbourne hospital, and had AZ vaccine. Said he had no side effects, but a few others he know did have a rough couple of days. I didn’t get much else out of him though.

Pretty sure they have all been Pfizer. Only heard of one say they had a typical reaction like you get with flu or other shots. A slight hot flush that went away pretty quickly.

Some of our staff have been vaccinated as they have (potential) contact with international arrivals. They got the early Pfizer ones.

Are people actually demanding a vac with NO side effects at all? No sore arm, or slight cold symptoms for a day or so, maybe a short-lived headache? I had a shingles vac a couple of years ago and the arm was pretty sore for 24-36 hours but I'd have it again if I needed it.

It’s a bit like getting your testicles cut off and being asked to where a condom during sex to prevent impregnation really BUT on the other hand I do understand it

If the vaccine doesn’t work like we all expect it won’t then masking will still be necessary I’d say. It’s a fair enough comment if they were admitting the truth about the so called vaccine but unfortunately it is a case of wanting to have your cake and eat it too based on a complete inability for government agencies to ever admit they got something wrong

Yep, I have the opposite, I wear glasses for distance vision and don't need glasses for reading.

Id rather they use the available treatment options, let the virus run its course, create a viable and working vaccine in a appropriate fashion that passes all trials and ensures the creators are legall responsible and then spend the 160 billion dollars extra revenue created on child healthcare so 14 year olds don’t die due to a lack of medical funding in this country

Two, as i have touched on before one is covid frightened so was going to pump his veins no matter what and the other asked around before deciding to roll up his sleeves, spoke in length with the second person and he said he got sick for a couple of days and then was better, i asked the second person how long is he protected for and he couldn't answer it, i said why would you inject something into your body without knowing how long it protects you for..............

Just don't get how anyone could get jabbed without knowing how long you are protected for, for all they know the vaccine could wear off by October and they will be none the wiser because studies on how long it lasts for won't be fully known for at least 18-24 months, did someone say human guinea pigs.

It’s easy to be obstinate when your argument is backed by facts.
You continue to misquote me - as you did with the bigotry assertion.
Now you say I support slavery, when you well know I was discussing wages rates (and added a link showing wages have quadrupled), to prove your delusion that the World Economic Forum was backing China as a very low wage ( and therefore “slave labor” rates) Country was outdated.

I think it will be similar to the flu jab in that we will need one every year. Like influenza, it will constantly mutate and the vacs will have to keep up. Over time more knowledge will be gained about whether the virus will be seasonal and what other factors make it more virulent or otherwise in different areas and countries.

He asked me if i would get it and i told him i won't as i don't need it, also said in 10 years time i might have a different thinking as i get older and by then there will be a solid base of knowledge about the vaccine or covid will be a distant memory which is more likely IMO and everyone will have reverted back to colds and flu.

Let’s hope so. We could maybe also reduce the incidence of colds and flu now that we are used to social distancing, hand hygiene and masks. Also workplaces may come down more heavily on workers showing up clearly unwell.

Supply mess surely you didn't swallow that con job, they have supply just not enough uptake but they won't tell you that because the two people i know came from phase 2B, they just rang up and were welcomed in to get jabbed within a few days. If supply was a mess then my mates would not have been welcomed in pure and simple.
