I mentioned a while back my friend's 97 year old mother who's in a nursing home. During the big lock down here in Victoria no-one from the family could visit her for a period of about eight weeks because they had two people there test positive to Covid one after another (a nurse and then a cleaner) so they locked the whole place down and the family were not allowed to visit. My friend and her family were not happy about this at all. Nonetheless her mother survived and did not catch Covid (I don't believe any of the patients at that nursing home ended up with Covid)

Yesterday I found out her mother had the AZ vax last week and afterwards had a stroke, she is not expected to live much longer.

Have now actually spoken to my friend. It was the Pfizer vaccine that she had not the AZ one. She had two doses and then about a week later had a stroke. My friends aunt is in the same nursing home and they think she may have also had a minor stroke as her walking is suddenly impaired but she's not as bad as my friends mum. They are trying to get an investigation into it and to find out if other patients are affected.

I don't get it! it's a lazy approach, instead of the state doing the hard work to fix the problem and do the contact tracing. McGawon has had 14 months to do this and hasn't! Lockdowns are gonna keep happening every-time there is a case over there. How do the people accept this?
