Yeah, sorry. I’m certainly no lawyer but medical autonomy laws are basically there to protect people and lead towards current medical practices.
For example, if your family are staunchly religious you can get an abortion safely with doctors recommendation. It needs doctor recommendation basically so that’s why you’re not seeing teenagers reject chemo.
The problem for people against the vaccine is the the medical field currently recommend it. Still, I think you’d prefer for teens to make the choice themselves than for parents to sign them over. Teens are much less likely to decide on vaccination than their parents.
