175 more dead in Italy - cases rise above 20,000

The death toll from Italy's coronavirus outbreak has risen by 175, one day after the nation recorded the highest daily jump the world has seen, with 250 deaths in a 24-hour period.

The current toll stands at 1,441 on Saturday (local time), up almost 14 per cent from the 1,266 total reported a day earlier.

The total number of cases rose by 3,497 to 21,157 and Italy remains the worst affected country in Europe and second only to China, where the highly infectious virus first emerged.

Italian health authorities say 1,966 patients have recovered from the disease, which broke out in the north of the country on February 21, compared to 1,439 the day before.

The number of patients in intensive care rose to 1,518 against a previous 1,328.

LicoriceAllsorts for sure there seems to be mass panic and attributions of pandemic for something that appears to be a common flu. Why? Is the big reason. It seems to be nothing extraordinary, this flu/disease, yet the entire world's authorities are acting like its the black plague. This is the point. We can argue where it originated, how it originated, if its man-made, who is pulling the strings, etc. But we cannot argue that something is all awry here. There does appear to be a big nefarious agenda to this GIVEN its just a flu.

There Are 3 different mutation strands in the Italian one compared to the Wuhan one....This cannot happen naturally....These viruses have been seeded into populations on purpose.

I know they have. I assert that. And it may even be true it originated in the US. But i dont buy the "targeting asians only". Im not even sure if its a bioweapon resembling a flu. You don't understand GG....The Wuhan strain targets a protein very specific to Asians....Older men is particular….This other strain in Italy has different sequencing.

I'll wait for there to be multiple source, agencies, reporting this as fact, before i jump on board on that point with you. Knowing it came from there helps pinpoint an agenda. But im not too hung up on the where, but the why. Given the US is being heavily affected too, and getting worse, doesnt align with a simplified mere "attack on china" theory. But a concerted global conspiracy to phase in ID2020 makes more sense to me.
