Hello there, long time listener, first time caller, and am wondering about Cory McGrath?
From what i have heard and seen, he looks impressive enough.
Am told he is a slick Ramanauskas type player and for that reason left Essendon.
Looked okay in the Wizard Cup v Geelong and has been named in the best players in the Vuffle, and am wondering why , why he has not surfaced, especially as this is against his former team.
Any thoughts?

mcgrath is a hack, i saw him play VFL today didnt even impress me in that. Although, in your squad he could be one of the best. :D

Funny how you say that when Murphy is playing for your mob - and we had better players in a supposed side where a guy who can't dominate in VFL level is one of our best?

No logic in that at all.

In all fairness, Murphy has played 4 good games.

The word you're looking for is solid.

I still feel sorry for richmond... first round pick for solid. I can sympathise with Livingston on our list, unless he turns the corner.

From what i've seen of McGrath, surely he would be a better option than David Clarke. Has had very quiet games against Kangaroos and Essendon and his place must be up for grabs.

Another one facing the axe this week is Prendergast. Every time he gets the ball I cringe.

Prendergast and a few others should cop the ax, and have a spell in the 2nds.

We need to shake and change this side around to get a mixs that'll win games.

He played on Harvey in the roos game... he was lucky to get 16 possessions... Clarke did very well.

This mix is still settling... just because we have a little depth to play with doesn't mean we plunge into at the expense of other player's confidence.

Give them a couple of weeks, if they don't turn it around, then give them a spell. But in a club where we're going to rely on these blokes for some semi-successful years, why punish them for not hitting the ground running?

At Essendon a lot of fans always thought he was very stiff to consistently miss out on selection. Is almost too good for the VFL but not quite good enough for the AFL, although he did show some promising signs a couple of years ago. He should definitely be given a go in your team, ahead of players such as Hulme and Clarke.
