Thought he was one of the shining lights for you guys today. Brilliant young player. Will end up one of the top 5 mids in the comp. I saw a bit of him as a junior so know how good he is but wow he was impressive today.

Despite having less possesion I thought he was more damaging today then he was against the crows. His best game at AFL level in my opinion.

On a side note I hope all those posters who have been critising Bryce Gibbs without actually watching him properly took a good look at him today. Was one of the best players on the ground.

yep agreed legend in the making this kid going to be a awesome player he is still only 18 and already would say he is better than most of our midfield's except for maybe Deledio and Foley on occasions because he can have a blinder of a game so yeah probably 2nd or 3rd best midfielder

and about gibbsy ive always like him and Marc Murphy both good players probably my 2 favorite non Richmond players in the AFL

yeah cotchin and deledio well rule the AFL one day im sure of it and when that happens we will once again get in the top 8 and get a couple of premierships and every one will lay off all of you players

but we have some great up and coming players

He's a freak on both sides of the body with kicking, poise and balance on the run.

cotchin looks to be very special, really impacts the game

really liked some of the things kruzer did as well,theway he covers ground is electrifying for a big man.

and on gibbs, havent been a big fan but showed his character today, after being smashed in the firt quarter by Lids he kept going and was very influential admittedly

Yes mate....sadly you are correct. We had a shocker. Cotchin, however, gives me a chub. Sat next to the Cheer Squad today and noticed about 10 jumpers with his name on. Impressive for a 18yo first year boy, he is obvioulsy winning us all over.

Cotch will be a great player

Gibbs best game i have seen him play looked good, gained some respect today i reckon

Though I wouldn't trade Gibbs for Cotchin.

He'll be good, but it's taken him nearly 40 games to make an impact.

Cotchin had an impact from day 1 and should improve by as much when he has a pre season But Gibbs isn't a player you'd consider trading for anyone I reckon, some players are simply untouchable.
