The goal that sealed the game from Trent was the exact same type that he missed up at the SCG. The one that he practised over and over again after the siren. Well to finish the game he nailed it this week and it is quite ironic it is against Sydney. This goes to show that hard work and determination pays off.

:thumbsu:GLAD he could make amends, but we would have been undeserving winners at the SCG. Swans' kicking was atrocious and kept us in it more than we should have. But looks like Trent is a perfectionsit!

And to think some posters bagged him for going out onto the ground and practising after the SCG loss:rolleyes:If I had the time, I would search for the posts.

If I recall correctly he was accused of showboating, but like you can't be arsed looking for the evidence. Some people will see the worst in anything ...

Grrr, look back up at post #5... threads should be merged :p

Just watched that whole package again...Martins goal still blows me away too

The kid should be dropped. Being able to run like that in the last minutes of the game suggests he was lazy in the previous three qtrs :D

Was a tad disappointed he missed that shot after the 3 qtr time siren, thought he was a monty :)

Love that goal all the more for the sequence: Martin to Vickery to Cotchin.

Raines to Roach to Wiley? Vickery had a couple of really nice assists yesterday. That left handed handball and the nifty tap over to King for the Nahas open goal. He's smart. I must admit I have watched the Cotchin sealer repeatedly. Love that Tiger roar.

TV does a lot of nice things that are very atypical for a big man; those little hands balls from a loose ball, the way he arches his back to evade tacklers, good snap etc. His confidence is growing and he's starting to take high quality contsted marks. Pretty exciting.

Im pretty sure TV played most of his Junior Football as a OVERSIZED midfielder and and you can see this in the way he can get through traffic like few other 200cm players can.

While i dont see him as a # Ruckman, i think once he adds more weight he will be a dominant third tall/relieving ruckman.

Could've easily had 6 goals for the game, dropped that early chest mark, missed the one after the siren, missed the close one at the punt road end, then missed that one around the corner at the punt road end. Once he works on those little things like his kicking technique inside 50 and gets more games into his legs he could be a freak, Timmy Watson was saying he's an absolute monster when he walked past him before the game.
