"Rigged" is probably a little harsh, lots of decisions not payed today to both sides - most of them not to us though and the ones that were paid were dicey as!
The crowd reaction whenever we did get a free told the story.

it's worth more for the AFL to remain a fair competition. IF the AFL rigged a game for melbourne to win, the negative effects of someone ever finding out, would far out weigh the positives listed by bigbomber above... that being said.. Melbourne were VERY lucky today

Fwiw I thought the umpires gave you a pretty hard time but I don't think it effected the outcome. Bombre's looked tired - I barrack for the Hawks - I know that look.

How can it not have affected the game when we were 5 points down with minutes to go. Im usually quite objective about the umpiring but on sunday i wanted to rip my friggin hair out.

agree, the first half was very ordinary for us and the second half was very ordinary for both teams.

thought the bombers fought it out really well. Umpiring was pretty bad, but there was some stingy decisions both ways and I thought Melbourne were unlucky to miss out on a few holding hte ball decisions in the third also.
But once the majority of your team finishes VCE, I'm sure it won't be long before you're playing finals again. good signs for the bombers.
