Often referred to as the fourth Fremantle team, especially in the early Dockers days, :D Claremont has generally produced a steady stream of AFL draftees, probably second to East Freo.

I was going to put some history trivia/questions here but to get that info from their site you need to sign up and log in. How precious can that info be? Silly move. Anyway, I have decided to leave that part of it to our resident Tigers fanatic, EFH, to see if they can come up with some interesting info.

Current President is Ken Venables.

Who is the no 1 ticket holder?

Who is the league coach?

Which Brownlow Medallist hails from Claremont and why is their win significant?

I must say that I really like the knitted bears that the lady volunteers provide for sale in the downstairs canteen area.:thumbsu:

Over to you EFH.

^^, nice work EH.

The Tigers are also bringing back the sash in their jumper, which they have used on and off over time. I think they've won 5 or 6 premierships with the sash, according to the story I read, in the West I think?

Cool, I miss the sash.

I still have a claremont jumper with the sash on it that I bought back in 1988. It still fits me and I train in it.

Not bad for a guy pushing 40.

Now, there's no need to come on this board and brag, It will only get you a ban! :D

But you're right, it's not bad. Pity my body didn't have the same train of thought!

Ok, from memory, Premierships with the sash.

81 vs Souths
87 vs Subi
89 vs Souths
91 vs Subi
93 vs West Perth.

That makes it 5 as far as I know.

Thanks for this thread and yeah, I'm thrilled we've brought back the sash this season. Go Tigers!
