Why do I suspect that you and people like you would never be satisfied regardless of what he said?
You've already made up your mind well in advance about him and the club.

He was never going to say much.
The whole situation is sad. He is a sad little ego maniac. i feel pity for him.
He may never recover, I would say he is pretty weak willed.
...... It seems that everything the WCE do is a joke
Why?Hope you squirt it in your eye and go blind. What a ridiculous post.
It was a nice read from an auto cue which was prepared by lawyers. Basically Cousins said nothing and was an arrogant puppet with a cheesy grin on his face. Inside he does not beleive he has done anything wrong. Shouldn' t be allowed near an AFL ground until he actually acknowledges (honestly) what he has done. It seems that everything the WCE do is a joke

FULL TRANSCRIPT OF BEN COUSINS' STATEMENT:
As you are aware I have been at an overseas rehabilitation centre for the past month undergoing treatment for a number of personal issues, including illness as the result of substance use.
My treatment is an ongoing process, and I have many challenges ahead of me that I need to overcome as part of my recovery to full health.
I will continue my treatment in Perth as an outpatient for at least the next four weeks. Part of that treatment will require me from time to time to leave Perth. I will act on the advice of my medical support team.
I look at this very positively and recognise that I have been privileged to have been given this opportunity.
I apologise to the West Coast Eagles Football Club, sponsors, the AFL and the community for my actions.
I am sorry that I have disappointed many people who have supported me in the past.
I want to acknowledge the tremendous support I have received from my family, the West Coast Eagles Football Club and many others.
I know that in order to play football again I will have to be accepted back by the players and staff of the West Coast Eagles and the AFL and I’m willing to fulfill any obligations imposed on me.
At the present time I don’t know when I’ll play again. My priority is to regain my health, my life and my family.
I want to thank the community at large for their support their encouragement and understanding which has assisted me and been very much appreciated
I would like everyone, if they can, to respect my privacy whilst I continue treatment and meet the significant challenges that lie ahead.to thank the community at large for their support their encouragement and understanding which has assisted me and been very much appreciated

Almost every sentence starting with "I"
Some clever lawyer did that to demomstrate he is taking ownership of the issues!
certainly not given the knocks he has copped
