Re: Cousins Decision In An Hour

The Tiges would choose Kruezer in a heart beat if you had the chance. :)
No they wouldn't and you may have to eat your words if Carlton follows suit. Kruezer is a good Ruckman/KPP but I wouldn't say great at either. He plays a tall utility role and dominates at the junior level in both positions, hence his fame. It will be a lot harder to play this dualistic role in the AFL. I'd rather Morton or Cotchin and would be happy with RFC's decision either way.

Re: Cousins Decision In An Hour

You're a complete waste of space and a Carlton fan...sorry to repeat myself.:)

Seriously when are our mods going to red card this smug deluded trolling asshat once and for all?

hes been talking up the blues for the last several yrs, nuff said

Re: Cousins Decision In An Hour

When he breaks a big footy rule.

He is welcome here but will know when he oversteps the line.

I have thought he has an over inflated opinion of his team for years but that is no reason to hand out a red card.

It would be good for a laugh though..................

My understanding of Kruezer, is that his strength is his speed and mobility and versatility. Who knows how good a ruck he'll become, but he has many other dimensions to his game i.e. a KP forward, tall utility, or even an a over-sized winger. That sort of versatility is pretty unusual. He is nothing like Fraser, who is pretty much a lumbering ruck, who can rest in the FP. Cotchin from all reports is the standout midfielder from the draft. You can't go wrong with either selection. I think you should always go for the best talent with top-10 picks, rather than team requirements. Having said that, if we kept Kennedy and didn't get Judd, it was going to be hard for us to accomodate another tall on our list, with Aisake, and Hampson taking over the ruck roles. With Kennedy's departure and Judds arrival, the decision was an easy one. Who knows who'll be better out of Kruezer and Cotchin. Both have a very good chance of staring at AFL level. Nothings 100%though. :)

Anyone interested in seeing Cuz play for the Burgers next year? If you read the papers it's a (very remote) possibility, but it appears he favours a move interstate. Not sure about the machinations required to list him at Coburg though.

I for one wouldn't mind Cuz showing our kids how an elite midfielder plays (on-field only, of course).
