Cousins was actually unsighted for 1 half not 3.5 quarters. Maybe you need to revisit primary school fractions.

He was well beaten by Harvey in the first half but tried to provide a spark for his team throughout most of the third quarter. He was okay in the final quarter but wasn't damaging or influential like he was in the third.

Bell was inspirational on Saturday with his toughness at the footy and willingness to put his body on the line over the footy. In contrast, Cousins was unsighted for three and a half quarters on Sunday.

Cousins more grunt than Bell? I think not.

Cousins really tried to lift the team in the 2nd half and went in hard - he didnt get any support from the other midfielders. In general I dont think he goes in hard enough at the man (tackling) but performs his role very well almost every week.

I saw the last 15-20mins of the Freo game and Bell's attack on the ball and the man was extremely good. He won a lot of hard balls and was definitely inspiring.

So (as much as it pains me ) I have to agree with a Freo supporter here - Bell is a lot harder than Cuz, but I still think Cuz is a better player (just) and is an integral part of our team.
