When Kerr had another one of his brain spasms cox grabbed him straight away and had words with him (Kerr looked like he didn't want to hear it)
But cox kept hold of him and said what he had to say. Me i think cox should be captain from next year on. He is what a captain should be taking nothing away from glass. But you cant win a game for your team as a full back.

Here here!!! Been saying it for a long time. But Yes Glass could njot get involved like Cox could. Plus there are other reasons for Glass to go. Sure he seems ok but really is he our best choice??!!

Glass does the same things.
I think it was against the Bulldogs that Wilkes messed up and resulted in an easy goal to the dogs. Glass ran up to him from 50m away, had a chat, and gave him a pat on the bum. Many other players closer to Wilkes didn't bother.

Then against Collingwood the same thing happened to Embley. Kicked across goal, missed Cox and allowed the opposition to score an easy goal. While Cox was there throwing his arms up in anger, Glass ran up to Embley and (from what it looked like) said something to the effect of "forget about it, shit happens".

Glass does his job just fine. He can't be all over the ground, that's why there's a leadership group to support the captain.

There is a difference though d4e. Glass DID go over to Kerr after his hit and what did he do? Gave him a pat on the head and ran away.

Kerr was in the paper on Saturday apologising for his headbutt on West, and saying he needs to get that stuff out his game. A day later he is getting toweled up by 10-gamers, losing his mind and doing the same thing.

After Glass left him, Kerr ran back to the middle and the Cox grabbed him and rightfully said 'what the f*** are you doing? Lift your game'. Kerr is not playing for the team at the moment, and he needs a captain to tell him so.

Ah the ol good cop bad cop routine

theres nothing wrong with glass being captain and cox still assuming a position of leadership.

being captain is just a title, other players can still be leaders.

Did anyone see Kerr and Selwood having a go at each other yesterday at qtr time , Selwood didn't look happy at all and Woosha was just watching and listening to them both makes me wonder who is running this ship.

Great to see Glass gettin stuck into Deledio when he came back on after his "knee injury". Just a shame he had a goal scored on him 2 mins later.

yeah, deledio had glass covered for pace easily, although deledio has most covered for pace.

I thought it was absolutely awesome to see Coxy do that.
Shows we really have turned a corner and the right foundations are in place for the future. Very encouraging to see.

Dean Cox would make a fine captain.
Daniel Kerr is frustrated and the pressure is getting to him in 2008.
