cheers! :D

Biggest load of bull**** I've ever heard.
We are almost BROKE! Why would we go for an aging overpaid star like Crawford. Ridiculous his name even being mentioned.

So if we cant have him what's the point of talking about him? He's washed up anyways.

Hes a top player and will play some good years yet no doubt. But with a rebuilding from the bottom, for a two more year player, we dont fit his needs and he doesnt fit ours.

sorry but did any of you guys actually read this? i already metioned we cant have him! i asked three questions: thoughts on the rumors, if you thought it is true and where will he go?

cheers!

I think it is true he wants to go, I've heard of a big bust-up with Dermott following Schwab's sacking, however, I don't think he will go due to the amount he's on and what other teams would have to give up to get him. People have mentioned the Swans as an option but in all honesty I can't say I've seen a topping-up strategy actually work, they would be better off keeping what they've got and their draft picks. He's only got two years left, so it doesn't leave enough of a window to win the flag, especially given how good brisbane are at the moment and the likelyhood they will still be right up there for the next couple of years.

As others have mentioned, right now it is probably better for us to be at the bottom now rather than challenging as we would have to be something special to beat a team like brisbane. Better that we are now building for the future and in a few years when they are no longer so dominant, we will be challenging. Teams like Collingwood and Port have been at their peaks and have come away with nothing.
