...means that one M. Richardson is the AFL's oldest player. I mean, I know he's near the end :( but quite frankly I'm really surprised by that. Guys like Fletcher sure, but Richo? Nah. On his '08 form he certainly doesn't play like an old man. :p Still doesn't mean he has to retire just yet - look at Rob Harvey.

My guess is it will come down to who's coaching Richmond in 2010

Pretty easy to see that it'll be TW. He has the 5 year plan on track, and called 2011 as the year when the Tigers will be ready for a flag tilt.

If we can sneak into the Top4 in 09, then a tilt at the flag in 2010-2011 will be not just a possibility, but a certainty.

He is a great visionary. People laughed at the start of 07 when he made the 2011 presentation, but it's proving to be 100% accurate now

Richo's looser role in the side will prolong his career, and give him the shot at a flag that he deserves.

Well done to TW and the fitness staff for 'reinventing' Richo's role in this late stage of his career, providing the Tigers will more flexibility and firepower in preparation for their next premiership tilt :thumbsu:

You both give yourself away and also just plant a seed of doubt that you may be for real.

2009 tiger to finish top 4-6
2010 tigers to finish top 2
2011 richmond wins the flag

350 games & 900 goals

2012 richo still has more in him and tiges win another flag
2013 tiges come 3rd and richo retires on 389 games and 979 goals in front of 115,387 at the G. The whole country wants to send Richo off and they pack the standing room and 6 light towers and everyone chanting RICHO RICHO

Richo deserves to go out the same way Crawf did and no doubt if the Tigs could get up and win one he would be gone in a flash. Its the only thing left to achieve for the Cho, hope he gets one and goes out on top.

well there is world domination, but I think he's saving that for retirement

Viva La Richolution!

This guy has to get serious. GET MARRIED, HAVE MANY MANY CHILDREN (5 boys and 1 girl) they can then interbreed to create perfection. Do not want the gene pool to be infested with dirty blood

Well, he is tasmanian after all. Sorry, couldn't help it.

:D I admit I don't like our boys playing down there, would much rather watch 11 home games at Waverley Park, but our friends at the AFL didn't like that. And it wasn't me that bought up the inbreeding.

crawf was a tiger supporter when younger could he be a good get as an assistant coach for the midfield

Players give jack about that once they have become legends of thier clubs and often well before

ask Tim Watson or Luke Hodge how they feel about Richmond today.

My Pastoral care teacher (home room teacher) at school was a Tiger supporter when he was young, he got rookied to the Hawks and when he left them he stopped following anyone. 'Supports Footy'...

Yeah, my grade 5 teacher was an Essendon supporter, then played a few games for North Melbourne. I always knew him as a massive North fan. Handy sportsman, also play cricket for Victoria

If anyone deserves a fairytale send off it would have to be Richo. You guys would probably be surprised how many Hawk fans like him.
