Any of you guys heard anything about Daryn Cresswell being an assistant at Sydney next season?? I'd read that he was joining the Lions next year, then I read this article on the Realfooty site. I'm assuming it's some sort of error. Anyone??

i had no idea eithere exepct there is an article in the age today that says he will definatly be at the swans next year so i am estatic, suposably he was a key factor in geelongs uprising

I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet occy. There's no direct quotes from Cresswell himself and the Lions website still list him as an assistant coach (yours doesn't). I'm thinking there's been some sloppy reporting here, or at least that's what I'm hoping. I'm sure you're hoping the other way - I would be if I were you!!!!

He's joined Brisbane as an assistant.He moved to QLD because his wife wanted to be closer to her family.They almost moved there when he retired from the Swans.
