Crows were well represented though , certainly put the cats to shame , no doubt
absolutely and its a ****ing longer trip for the crows than the handbaggers.

they have reclaimed the tag

Prelim was amazing. Now that I reflect back on the last month, it's been the most amazing time in my football memory.

The prelim crowd was simply amazing and it will never be matched.

Props to the crows fans too, they were pretty loud for a qtr and a half lol...

Hey guys, was overseas for the cats and giants finals
I can't find video of when the cats ran out and got boo'd anywhere
It's not on the dvd's (they start at the anthem)
Can anyone help me out??
It seems to have been erased from the video vaults of history! I've got the Fox Footy pre game and you see Geelong come out but don't hear the crowd. Very disappointing.

This kid vlogged from his phone. Cats run out about 5.20.

A good indication but seemed louder at the gound. Turn your phone up to max is the best indication!

Great home game.

When Martin came off the first time in the 4th of the prelim, the roof was blown right off.

Watching this on TV, the camera is on Martin and you can hear the roar building, then when he is about 5 metres behind Vlastuin, it seems Flos finally caught on that this massive roar wasn't normal, and turns and sees Dusty coming in behind him.

I kinda feel that one roar must have really made Dusty's decision to stay sink in. He was dominating the game, massive supporter base, in finals, can't think it could get any better on a football field. (Except a few weeks later!!)

The Crows supporters in the bays around me in the Olympic Stand represented very well, i thought. Cheered hard for their team. No dickheads. Most stayed until the bitter end, even though the game was done before half time.

They went up in my estimation of them as a supporter base.

As a couple have already said, I was surprised at the level of support for both clubs given how much people talk about the corporates at grand finals and it was my first GF. I thought the Crows were super loud on the day, early on that is, but you lose a bit of perception of the level of your own supporters at a game because you're in amongst them and screaming too!! Watching the replay you can get a great idea of the Crows representation when Sloane puts that first goal through!
There's two great indicators of our crowd noise aside from goals. When Richo is announced as him and Bickley bring the cup out at the start and when Cotch gets the ball on the far wing very late in the last quarter and the crowd salutes him!

Hearing the Richo chant for this on the replay and then watching my own videos where you can here the one when we get the cup at the end is one of my favourite things. It was like every Richmond supporter there just wanted to hear that chant on GF day and wasn't going to miss the opportunity.

I've been to all the finals in the last 5 years.

vs Carlton: When we ran out onto the ground and up until the first bounce, this was the most amazing sound I think I've ever heard. Maric's goal, very close behind.
vs Port Adelaide: The game was over pretty quick, so the atmosphere wasn't great. Still had a nice amount of noise and buzz, but didn't feel the Adelaide Oval hype myself.
vs North Melbourne: Was good, but nothing amazing. Didn't really feel like 95k.
vs Geelong: Pretty incredible when we got on a roll especially. Nice to be under lights, but the day games have had better atmospheres.
vs GWS: Unlikely to ever be able to emulate. The most complete sound from start to finish I would say. The foundations were rocking when the song was being sung.
vs Adelaide: A lot less corporate than I imagined and actually exceeded my expectation in terms of atmosphere. Was good to have the Crows supporters too, they like to make noise in Melbourne (unlike Geelong, North). The last half was amazing. Truly unforgettable, hearing the song being sung at different times in different bays, you heard 'Yellow and Black' every 20 seconds. Felt like the Tiger supporters really acknowledged every minute detail from a slight touch out of bounce or any break in play was massive.

Hard to say which was the best. Each game has it's own little significance, with the Carlton first final in a long time (easily the best build up to the ball being bounced), GWS and actually knowing that a Grand Final was the next step, and the raw emotion of the Adelaide game where you'd high five and hug complete strangers, but they felt like your family.

Pretty much my feelings. In that Carlton final the deep roar from the cheer squad end as the players ran down there after coming through the banner was truly something special. I haven't heard the same sound since.

the pre lim was definitely the loudest and proudest moment, before that was the carlton elimination final when we ran out - you could see or the blue supporters look at each other like ghosts after the huge roar that accompanied the boys onto the ground. wasn't our day but definitely gave me a sense of pleasure of what's to come!

Haven't found it anywhere yet. Is it sitting on youtube or something right in front of me?????
Not sure i originally recorded the chanel 7 friday night game against the cats
Not the fox sports footy one,
Its on my iq box maybe someone has uploaded on youtube not sure

Nothing compared to the Lambert goal in the prelim though :D
As soon as dusty roved the pack we all knew the handpass wad going straight to lambo for an easy goal the roar stareted 10 seconds b4 lambo kicked it
It was the best of starts
