Was at the Prelim, and the loudest roar was definitely when Butler snapped his goal with about 6 minutes remaining in the last quarter.

Even on sevens coverage the noise reached 126 db, which is one of the loudest ever at a sporting contest. You can tell that its pretty loud because the camera shakes :)

I would have thought the woofer valve would have been well and truly blown when dusty burst outa the sq start of 4q , u turned. And snapped the first ,,,,,we were home , with the flag now in sight
 
Phones will never capture the atmosphere
This is a really good, simple point which I haven’t actually seen mentioned so bluntly on here.

The sound from the videos I’ve got on my phone of the team running out and the final siren are barely a drop in the proverbial ocean of what being at the prelim was actually like. Watching the Fox replay at full volume isn’t remotely close to doing it justice.

You simply HAD to be at that game to understand the scale of that atmosphere.
