Only had two winners today in Melbourne with Newport and Theresnothinglycra both getting up for me.
But i had a gold run on the Sydney races getting six winners, so all up did very well today.

Had a perfect start today with a $90 win on newport (15 bucks to win) then i picked 3 out of the next 4 winners, in all honesty dont know how, i fluked it with theresnothinglycra thanks to a purely gut bet....In my supreme wisdom i tried to outsmart myself and left finland out of the oaks in my box trifecta purely so i could get some value ultimately sefrah was my downfall-he was crap today and yeh ended up wrapping up a nice 48 dollar win with megadeal all in all came out on top even taking into account beer expenses, entry fee, pizza for dinner, lunch, train ticket and phone credit so it was a great day!

Noticed Lion Hunter had sired 3 winners for the day (Street Smart, Gold Edition and some other one in NSW) so had a bit on a Lion Hunter bred horse in the last at Brisbane. Sure it enough it won to make it 4 for the day and as nice little bonus for me!

Shame LH is now dead as they are guns!

As soon as i hopped off the train i knew it would be my day, when i hopped off a bloke came up to me and asked if i wanted a free ticket to the hill stand - how can i say no?

Anywho after that i lost $200 - which was a little off puting, but seeing it was my day i was able to turn it around to a $500 win, thanks mostly to Gold edition (yeah i backed it for good money because i was down), Miss Finland and also Furio, also had Magadeal and Jaques le Naif in the last two both Win Only and both came second at good place odds. Might have to start going E-W.

One Lion Hunter sired runner today in Australia at Doomben R 4 No 1 - sure enough it won. (October Grey)
