Despite the loss the crows showed today they do have an upside. The Crows are a young side and are rebuilding. Players like Tippett, Walker, Dangerfield, Knights, MacKay, Porpus all showed signs that they will be top players in the future. We didnt have it all our own way, the first half your preassure and intensity was top notch, unfortunately for you the lack of a functioning forward line meant that you didnt show your dominance on the score board.

The third you were out classed and in the last your side put a scare through me after getting within 25 points. I still have a lot of respect for The Adelaide Crows football club and without doubt the crows will be back. I hold this win as a big result because any win over a quality side like Adelaide is always great. We hadn't beaten you in 7 or so years AAMI so that just shows that Adelaide are never easy beats. 4 losses at home in a row, people shouldnt read to much into that, you lossed against the potential top 4, Cats, Saints, Port and the Dogs. You can never write off the Crows and will be around the mark for finals again this year.

All the best for the rest of the season and fingers crossed we don't run into you in finals. :thumbsu:

Thanks for the kind words but I highly doubt we'll be in the finals.

Mate you do realise this is Bigfooty. Opposition supporters aren't meant to say nice things about opposition clubs.

If you say Ayres I'll have to hunt you down and kill you. But sorry for thr insult if it was Ayres....:D

You got me. Ayres is the bloke. I can understand I was going for the doggies and the crows but when he left I had to part ways. But i gave him **** for a few years aswell. But at the same time it wasn't his fault he wasn't kicking the goals and playing the game a few players really let him down if your talking about those pre lims. I still watch the tape of the dees vs Crows Semi Final at the MCG when we were just about gone at 3 qtr time and after the game some melbourne supporters were giving Gary a mouthful and he turned to them and pointed to the scoreboard. I still find that ammusing.:p
