Riewoldt. Now don't get me wrong he is very skilled and very courageous, but no current AFL player have i seen cry so much compared to others. If you have pictures of them or any other professional sportstars crying post them hear.

he is a great player, but soft as butter, hangs with too many soapy stars, its rubbing off...

There is also that game against brisbane when he sooked up...

Malthouse and licuria 2002 was a good effort too,can forgive people after a grand final including riewolt...

The collar bone crying incident was pretty suspect, but as much as I like taking the piss, you can't seriously call a bloke out for crying after losing a grand final.

Shows he has true passion and heart for the club, nothing wrong with that. He is hardly alone in that illustrious group anyway.

Clinks will bawl his eyes out in 2034 when Freo finally make a GF, only to get smashed.

i didnt just start the thread for everyone to start bagging riewoldt.
There is already 2 or 3 on the board atm.

Could have fooled me since you only used pics of Riewoldt in the OP.

These threads just go round in circles with the same pics always posted, ie. Riewoldt crying, Ablett crying, Campbell Brown crying, Malthouse and Licuria crying etc.

It's all been done to death.

Could this post be due to this?

but in all seriousness I do agree. Crying after a GF loss is ok, like you said shows a bit of passion. Crying because someone bumped you while you are still on the field, poor form.

People often think Riewoldt crying in 2005 was about the collarbone, it wasn't, if it was, he would've teared up on the ground and while the Brisbane players tried to f**k it up even more. What he was truly upset about was that it was his first game as Captain, and in the first chance he gets to Captain his club, he goes down. It may not be as acceptable as Grand Final tears, but believe me it wasn't about the pain, any Saints fan will tell you that.

Ok that may be true, but you can't have a crack at the Brisbane players for doing what they did. If you are injured, get the f**k off the field, otherwise you are 100%.

He was being taken off the field by a trainer...

Maybe you should watch afl..

It's good having some idea about a subject, before blowing your load on nothing...

He had previously elected to stay on the ground IIRC, so it was fair game.

On what someone else said in page 1, I too always believed he cried because of the whole 'first game as captain' thing, and not because of the collarbone. Which probably makes it less unacceptable (not more acceptable ;)). Just shows he has a lot of pride in his role as captain.

Don't have one of him crying, but i have got one of him diving and staging for a free again. The only thing missing is his superman cape

Freo never get in any finals to lose and make them cry.

you should hang around on draft day, plenty of tears on the announcement of being drafted by Fremantle
