Reading reports that the subpoena was issued 6th December. So this has been around for awhile, this was also before the massive bull run prior to Christmas.
If they are dodgy that massive spike may have been linked to try and increase the value of the currencies they did hold to then shore up their records. It would also explain why we have been bleeding ever since as all that accumulated crypto was sold off. Just a theory, im not sure if that is workable or how the whole thing was structured.
The good thing is that this is hitting now. We cant have these dodgy operators like bitconnect, security weak exchanges and this tether situation ongoing if the space is to grow and become more stable. Also means there could be some tokens on sale in the coming months.

I mentioned Better Betting earlier, I have bought some of their coins. It's very speculative but I like the idea, and if they make it work then it would be very popular. They are attempting to use the blockchain to build a worldwide network on sports betting. They want to tap into the multi billion dollar sportsbetting industry and use blockchain to provide a means of exchange free from the margins of bookmakers. Essentially like a worldwide betfair using their coin as betting capital, and the blockchain as the medium of exchange and record.

BTC below 10k right now, ETH is now 2/3 the size of it on market cap too.

I ain’t worried about Walt. As soon as they start implementing their RFID chips in shops etc their value will begin to be less affected by the dinosaur BTC
