How does it work that DOT is down against BNB, but up against BTC, when both BNB and BTC are down against USD?

Different pairs.

In your case, it would mean that order of performance is:
USD
BNB
DOT
BTC

Nobody knows for sure. I wouldn't wait to find out when you can still buy at sub 50k usd prices.

It’s on the comeback. I saw it last night hit it’s bottom. Bitcoin dropped 1000 in a few seconds to 45,000. That was buy time.

Sold my bag of POA yesterday because it hit monthly resistance. I may buy in again later this month or March depending on price action.

Often you'll find price moves by technical analysis rather than any news. A lot of the trading is done by bots.
