Ok just went big on theta. Patient time.

Hopefully hit the bottom so far so good but edgy trade. But have faith.

Let see.

Bitcoin needs to hold 32000.. touch and go

What if it dips more after you buy?
I'd probably buy a little more next pay to further dollar cost average.

I'm not looking for a quick buck, happy to let it sit for 5 - 10 years and reassess my position.

If it went nuts in that time I'd probably cash out my initial investment + some profits.

Mind you I'm only looking to put in 10-15% of the next paycheque, so money I can afford to lose and it won't break me.

In that Trump interview this morning, he described BTC as both a currency and scam, personally describing it as a currency holds far more weight than calling it a scam. Futures trading is where most of the activity is happening today.

Each time BTC has got a whiff of the 32k mark it has bounced hard a couple of times today, after which it goes sideways for a bit and repeats the same process. It isn't coincidental that this crash happens the day after a country announces it is adopting BTC as legal tender, and a couple of others hint at it.

I went to sleep last night just after hearing about Trump's comments. He still has a lot of support and I wondered if it would drop over night. Few hours later everything down more than 10%.

Super noob question but I was considering putting the larger holdings I had into USDC overnight.. Is that a bad strategy if you think it's heading south? I don't have stop-loss orders as most of my coins are on Coinbase.. Gonna switch over to Pro when I get home

Trump supporters own Dogecoin not BTC.

Absolutely, if you think it is going south further and are looking short term, then moving into a stablecoin is the best move. However, only if you aren't selling at a major loss. If you are, then just hodl and wait it out.

You'll end up buying higher if you don't know how to trade. We'll likely bounce here.
