Yeah Killing An Arab is a great song :thumbsu:
Just don't really like the "happy" side to The Cure

Really? I reckon their happier songs are great. C'mon, singing Friday I'm In Love on a Friday night, just before going out, while absolutely wasted, can't be beat.

Why yes it is, along with Disintegration.
I always prefered the more "goth" side to them.

That's the reason I can never be a massive fan of theirs. I like a lot of their music, but at the same time I blame them for some of the ills of the world.

Aww I can't blame them for anything, got too much respect for Robert Smith and the boys :)
I think I prefered the Goth side because I was brought up listening to more of the depressing albums like Faith, Staring At The Sea & Disintegration..for example A Forest and Charlotte Sometimes have been my Favourite Cure songs since I was about 2..But I dunno, I just can't bring myself to enjoy listening to "Friday I'm In Love" Or "Lovecats" unless I am in a silly mood :)

My favourites would have to be Friday..., Close To Me, Just Like Heaven etc. Pretty much their more accessible songs. Great songs to cover, as well. I should really record some and post them.

Oh awesome, goodluck with it then :thumbsu:
What other music do you do covers of? (If you do anymore covers..)

Still play covers for our own enjoyment, usually just classics that we can play while absolutely hammered (Where Is My Mind by the Pixies is a favourite). We've sort of made an agreement that we won't focus on any covers until we've got more originals, and unfortunately that means less alcohol and more actual thinking.

Aww shame lol.
I'd love to be in a band, but i'm not talented with singing or instruments :thumbsd:
Does your band have a name?

No, we are having an "argument" (all in good fun) about the name. My suggestion is clearly the best, but the others don't agree! ;)

Haha and what your suggestion?
It's lame when people don't agree on your ideas lol

Hell no! I'm self-concious about it already without posting it on an internet forum! As soon as we have agreed upon it, and recorded something, I will sing it from the fing rooftops.
