This is the VOTING THREAD for Game 1 - Primetime Pricey vs PHX

Primetime Pricey
C: Andrew Bynum
PF: Amare Stoudamire (team I support)
SF: Paul Pierce
SG: Stephen Curry (non all-star starter)
PG: Russell Westbrook

Bench
Kawhai Leonard (under 2 seasons)
Nick Young (designated 6th man)
DeAndre Jordan

VS

PHX
C: Dwight Howard
PF: Tim Duncan
SF: Danny Granger
SG: Arron Afflalo (Non All-star starter)
PG: Rajon Rondo

Bench -
Kenneth Faried (under 2 seasons)
Brandon Jennings (sixth man)
Ryan Anderson (own team's player)

When voting, keep in mind that here's how the competition was defined;

We each draft 8 players (starting 5 + 3 man bench).
Players drafted can only be from current NBA rosters.
You draft the best possible team to win this year.
We ignore current injuries in terms of drafting.
We ignore any other factors such as suspensions, contracts/free agency, etc.

The idea for this competition is that we draft a team from current rosters that we believe could win the championship this year had they been together for the entire season, and all remained healthy.

And remember, as requested by you, the fans, we've got extra criteria for the picks to make it interesting;

Extra Criteria for Picks - Each team must satifsy this criteria
*1 starting player who has not been an All-Star
*A designated 6th man
*1 player who has played less than 2 full seasons of NBA basketball, for whatever reason
*1 player from the team you support

So vote accordingly. Vote for the teams you think best satisfy all the criteria, the teams that you think would have the best chance at the championship this year had they been together for the entire season, and all remained healthy.

And remember, anyone can vote, but draft competition participants votes count for 2!

Woah this is a tough one.

Rondo v Westbrook?
Howard v Bynum?
Amare v TD?
Pierce v Granger?
Curry v Afflalo?

Mannnn that's tough.

On paper you'd assume the team with TD and Dwight howard would win, but when you really start imagining how those lineups would play together, and how they'd compliment each other well, it becomes really hard to pick a clear winner.

In the end, the combination that won it for me was Rondo/TD/Dwight. I just can't get past that.

This one was very close for me though.

PHX by the closest of margins. Dwight and TD sold it for me.

As mentioned too hard to go part Rondo feeding Dwight and TD. Not sure how the rest of us let that happen.

Edit: actually now I think about it I'm not as convinced. Bynum, Amare and Westbrook match up pretty well and Curry and Pierce definitely got the edge over granger and Affalo. Benches pretty even too.

Timmy D would flat out destroy Amare and Dwight likes to have his way with Bynum. Also would back in Afflalo to do a good job shutting down an undersized designated SG in Curry.

Pierce vs Granger is a tad concerning, but not as hell-raising as if it was two years ago.

And there it is PHX. See you in the finals!

AB vs howard is salivating. really delicious. a real battle of the titans.

the weak link in either teams lineup is Alvin Affalo. Not convinced he can mix it with the big boys, but thats how he likes it. Oh and STAT. TD would use his smarts to cause extinguishment of amares flame.

I see PPs team just winning in 4OT. Westbrook and Curry, with Pierce have a little too much firepower.
