The inside rail wasn't that bad, as no horse had raced there for about 4 races now.
Great ride, race was over on the turn.
As soon as the race finishes, phone rings, mate at the 'Bool is going nuts, had Sid for a heap. (Mad at him for not telling me pre race).

Didnt get time to post before the race, quickly ran up to the TAB after a meeting....really cant see how people didnt get on Hissing Sid. Was the only horse actuallt set for the race, ran well in lead up races and can handle the heavy and loves the track.
I really couldnt believe the $3.70 on offer, was ridiculous...anyway I'm a happy man, especially after having a couple of bucks on Some Are Bent!
What a great race the 5500m test is...fantastic stuff. Next year I'm going to Warnambool

Noted this back in mid April and have followed it since....didn't have any on it today, either a wet tracker or has been quietly set for this race...big firmer

Really like Tromso, wouldn't surprise me to see him upset the favourite but you don't know what you'll get from him at this stage.

Put a little on Sophrosyne each/way in the 3rd at Flemington. Odds to good to refuse IMO, should like the little give in the ground.

That is a top horse Waller has on his hands, Summer Dash. 4th start, stepping up to 1800m, 3 from 4, 3 in a row. Showed a nice turn of foot, got held up on the turn and laid in near the line. Very impressive.
