yeh a bit heavy handed by Bluey. But like shinners said- I think a worse (more appropriate) punishment for Dan wouldve been to delete his post count.

Either way he'll be back no doubt.

The Bombertalk forum is the reason i came over to BigFooty. I got sick of teenage girls discussin' how cute Lloydy is and Solomon's haircut. Maybe when the footy starts, things might improve. But at the moment it's full of kids.

Yeah Bombertalk has gotten a little bit on the nose. But i try to stick to the serious footy boards over there. I steer clear of all the "Lloydy and Cara are hot" threads.

Just discovered BigFooty a month or so ago. I find some of the comments on the main footy board here hilarious. It beats the same old biased viewpoint you get over at Bombertalk. But i have been posting there for over 5 years. Arch is a name i remember!

Here's to some good discussion when the REAL stuff begins !!

bombertalk used to be great esp around late 99 early 2000, but it lost alot of the good posters like feltchmonkey, eggy, max crow (dutchy), mel,NS,beau etc etc when the board freezed up and started going haywire and now that its fixed, few ever seemed to have come back. I post there now because I feel a sense of duty to try and contribute something of value to those boards,as they tend to be overrun with idiots,trolls carlton fans and other undesirables. Slowly a few good contibutors are starting to pop up there, and a few good threads are going, so if all the bomber fans at least took some time to add something worthwhile there, maybe we can eventually get the forum back to what it used to be. good fun.

Bigfooty will always be number one for me though.

It's heading that way for me. But i also see it as my duty as an EFC Member to contribute something over at Bombertalk. Hopefully the trolls dissipate once the season starts. But i'm afraid that it will be too much to ask...bet we'll see them out in full force when (if?

Hi guys just thought I would pop in and have a little gloat at Dim's expence... hope nobody minds...

Well I just want to be the first to say that I didn't realise he had even been banned and that probably justifies my point that he is insignificant... and would not be missed by the majority of people at Bigfooty...

Dim24 = the true meaning of insignificance...

and that really makes me happy...
 
Yeah, it was interesting to see that when Joffa got banned, there were at least four pages of posts from people demanding that he be reinstated and plenty of those posts were very passionate (and not from Collingwood fans either).

Meanwhile, the calls for whatshisname's return have been, at best, half-hearted.

An interesting contrast, hey?
