Dane Swan - Kicking for goals

Dane,
Thank you, during the last 3 weeks I don't think he has missed a set shot on goal. I posted something about him not kicking well on the set shot a few months ago. "help Dane Swan set shot on goal"

Big difference when you get 25 quality possessions and kick 2 or 3 each week when it counts. He was always a good player his finishing elevates him to becoming a great player.

The same goes for Travis, 5 straight this week and I think he kicked 4 against Port Adelaide.

Jack Anthony and especially Dawes ,wow, has he made a difference taking some of the heat off cloke.

Players that finish off their hard work make a huge difference to the team.

he looks so much more confident now, ive noticed over the past 2 weeks, if he reckons he can have a shot from inside 50 he goes for it.

earlier on in the year he preferred to dish it off.

He really has picked it up and dusted it off, all of a sudden. He had completely lost the plot in front of goal for quite some time. Greatly relieved, I am.

It's all about confidence. He seems to have it back.

Interesting that since the Shaws and Didak have been suspended, both Swan and Davis have really stood up for the club and played good consistent football. Maxwell has been better too.

It's fantastic to see and exactly what we need from that middle group of players.

May be that the lack of leadership we were perceived to have has been exaggerated.
