Yeah no problem with you posting the thread, but this came up about four days ago.

Adrian Anderson said he was not aware of anything, and he'd be the first to know if anything had happened.

Just people trying to tarnish Swan's reputation, hence my post about the ridiculous cover-up theory that was then perpetuated.

Does the AFL even have any control over who and when testing is done for recreational drugs?

Pretty sure they don't for testing for performance enhancing drugs.

Are these both performed at the same time by ASADA? Or are they under different regimes?

Spot on, I have it on very good authority and you guys know I never make up crap around here that the the big name Hawthorn player was the one that has tested positive for the third time, it was reported by 3aw that a player has tested positive a third time not naming which club or anything like that and then Adrian Anderson rang in and denied it. There is no way the AFL are gonna name the star, it will ruin their brand and image. They will hide it for as long as posible.

So you are saying the 3 Strike is a Joke and going by what you say I hate to think how many players have 3 or more Strike then.

i've seen him out pinging off his **** when he was much younger, so it wouldn't suprise me if he had a strike or two (if they had the strike system back then?). but i think he's grown up a bit and wouldn't think he'd be stupid enough to risk three strikes.

This rumour is incorrect on a number of reasons. The rumour has been around for a while, and if it were true the AFL would have already made an announcement.
