I'm excited as well and I don't even follow Adelaide.

I wanted to see the game today to see how he went but I don't have Fox, someone load the goal to YouTube.

Good to see people who can look beyond the jumper and enjoy a genuine exciting moment.

Saintpremiers08, might want to change your name to Saintpremiers24

Looks good the Dangerman, took a while to get the pace of the game. Liked his stand up in the pack handball with his first possie. Awesome name to have if he becomes a gun.

Pace to burn very impressed with his debut today and will play next week:thumbsu:

Doesnt look over awed at all and seems comfortable at AFL level, the kid will be an AFC legend:thumbsu:

sign him up with a 5 year contract now!!!!!!!!!!
then extend it in three years
that way we dont have to worry about the victorian clubs trying to poach him.

He's got crazy pace about him...didn't see him carry the ball and take anyone on yet, although we did see him chase...and good god he's lightning.

He is absolutely huge for an 18 year old.

It's hard to say the decision is justified after one game but the signs are looking good :thumbsu:

Definitely wasn't overawed, a couple of good second efforts and could prove to be the excitment machine we're missing.

Bring on '09!

I went to the game today and witnessed DangerTIME! He is a champion in the making! There is something bout him that oozes greatness! My girlfriend is jealous that my eyes were on Dangerfield more than her!!!! But hey the Crows are my life

as i predicted a solid 5-10 possession game.
he did well to run and chase and even stood his ground in some of those tackles. has a strong body for a young kid and popped up for a good long goal.
probably just me, but i think his set shots are a bit rushed; but hey, he's third in the goal kicking (TAC cup), so he knows how to kick them.
...in an article on the crows site, Craig said he'd be confident in picking either Otten or Dangerfield in the remaining games to come.

what are people's thoughts on Danger playing next week? i think 50/50 at the moment; the games in melbourne, which is convenient, but they don't want to disrupt his studies too much.

He's got that swagger and I LOVE IT! :D

Loved some of his work today. Great pace, great defensive pressure, great ability to stand up in a tackle......just didn't look out of place! Next yeat can't come around quick enough.

I think he'll stay in the team for next week as it is in melbourne.
The question is do we play him outside of melbourne. We play the bulldogs in a twighlight saturday game which would allow rodney to come over without disrupting his studies

dont think knights will be back so soon.. so probably will be kept in the side.. like to see him play against a slow side like st. kilda

i think Knights, Vince and probably Porpz will ready by round 22, so whichever youngster is given an opportunity next week, would need to play well to retain a spot.

Danger didn't get many touches in the first half, but he involved himself with the play and because of his speed, he was able to adapt well to AFL pace well, while the slower guys like Otten will just need a bit more time.

I saw him live in the SANFL and he didn't have such a good game and while he didn't dominate today, man I was impressed :thumbsu:

He floats, he seriously floats on air. When he first came on he chased and Essendon player down the wing a bit and it was just like BAM where did that come from? He is so damn fast and so smooth with his action. He was even gliding off the field to come on the interchange.

Vic Crow is one lucky person to have seen him play so often!
