Apparently (that one word often used at this time of the year) Daniel Bradshaw is considering returning home to Victoria and is out of contract. If he places himself in the psd, should we consider taking him and use him as a key defender which will enable us to still have LLoyd, Lucas and Johns up forward?

It may also be a perfect fit as we could rotate Lucas and Bradshaw between CHF and CHB.

I personally think if the rumours are correct and he wants to return home, that it is something we should seriously look at and would be interested in your thoughts.

He'd be an excellent aquisition as we then wouldn't have to worry about him kicking 8 goals against us each time we play Brisbane...

I'm not aware of who else is looking to enter the PSD, but if there is not anyone of true value to us, then i think we should make him a massive priority.
He is big, strong and can play CHB, thus allowing us to develop the younger players who MAY end up playing that position, a lot slower and not having to throw them to the wolves.

Go get him Dodoro

From the times I have seen him play at CHB I have thought he was better as a forward. You would only get him if you were thinking of moving Lucas back to CHB or sharing the two positions between the two of them.

Don't think we will get him but agree with the second poster I could see him at the Bulldogs.

How old is he? Around 27-28?
he turns 28 in November- I think we should make him our priority over other names that have been thrown about such as Aker and Gardiner

It's all about the what if's at this stage though

He's not coming to Essendon, if anything he'll go Pre-Season and we'll look for a midfielder/backman/ruckman, not another Tall Forward.

Daniel Bradshaw is Brisbane's version of Scott Lucas.

Every time Scotty is out of contract he's going to Geelong. Same with Bradshaw and coming back to Melbourne when he is out of contract.

Warwick has it just about spot on I reckon, he'd be nice though.

I disagree that he is a forward only, although i wouldn't totally dispute the fact that he may be a better forward than a CHB.
I can't remember against who or what teams, but i have seen him play some very good games at CHB, maybe the lions supporters could advise more on that?

Whether this is just a ploy or not will be decided in time, but as for his value to our team, i believe it would be massive and he should be our top priority, over the players that appear to be available at the moment.

Well Rocket doesnt agree with you judging by his comments today. Was a very firm no.

well if he did go in the psd he would be a good pick up. only 27 years of age another good 5 or six years maybe. can even play at CHB and can help out fletcher. what a pick up it will be. and can also be rotated with lucas just to give him some time up forward. a pick up i would recommend. But it wont happen his a one team player. so we can only dream.

Bradshaw? No thank you.

Marginally better then Kent Kingsley as a forward and not any better then any of our defenders at the moment.

We have a number of people his size who are better or just as good.

We should be going after midfield runners.

Biggest insult known to man that. Bradshaw is a very good forward. But hes a no for us.

I find that amusing. Who are our key tall backman stocks who are btter or the eqaul of Bradshaw.

Solomon, McPhee, Bradley? Who else do we have?

Fletch is the only one for me who is better and Fletch has been a champion for us.
