Was a huge wrap for him last year and has been MIA for the bulk of this year

What a spark he is .

Should have played a few more than he has this year .

Would love to know exactly what it is that rubs plough the wrong way with this boy because he can seriously play

I reckon Plough just wants him to work a lot harder then he does, because its plain as day that he belongs out their and suprise suprise, look what he has done so far and he has done some really hard work out their.
Just keep it up

The boy is in a mold of Browny its not funny ,
The arrogance is just imminant , i must say im a fan :)
Can play , and ooo can he fight , Hodgey should be watching his back ;)

Can't play anywhere near 4 quarters yet ID. No doubting he has the talent in bucketloads, but the coaching staff have quite rightly given games to the blokes who are working harder on the track ahead of him.

I think that mentality has done a lot for us in the way of improving players with a tendency to just lope along minus the requisite passion. When a bloke like Morton can go from being what he was at the Eagles to a hungry player running down a great midfielder like Sewell in the last couple of minutes when we're 4 goals up, you can sense that the discipline coming from the coaching staff is spot on.

Agree with all of that

He is just a prodigious talent that if we can channel him the right direction we have a real player .

It is a real plus for TW that he really seems to make pplayers earn the jumper instead of handing out Freebies

everyone needs to remember he spent most of the pre-season in a moon boot!

I'm a massive fan of connors and with a full pre-season he will play most games next year!

can easily see the benefit of some experience in this fella, he is still prone to go for too much, be it a specy or thread thru the eye of the needle BUT he has talent, no doubt about it and should remain in the side:thumbsu:
How was the old fashioned bauk and goal in the first :thumbsu:

God that had class written all over it.... "Maurice Rioli" like

No fluke that one

Big pre season = Welcome Daniel Connors!

What I noticed was Connors has the uncanny ability to lose his man. The ball comes inboard and he's free!

How the **** did he manage to do that time and time again? :D

That's a skill you can't teach.

And he's a nutter....gotta love that in your side. :thumbsu:

Hell yeah this kids a footballer!
I've been waiting to see this kid play since i saw him at the burgs..
What do you guys mean he's "nutty" i didn't see the game as i was at work. i only got to listen to the second half.

If you remember his debut against Sydney last year.
Got stuck into Barry Hall of all players. He is a tough little bastard

Remember his second game i think against the Cats down at the cattery ... got right in G Abletts face and had a bit of stoush with him ... have not seen that sort of work in a Tiger guernsey for many a year and he won me right there ..

like Jack R ... has a bit of swagger and confidence about him .

Suddenly life after Brown isn't that bad. This kid has the x factor. So has Morton. If these twoi can develop some consistency, they are the types that keep the turnstiles clicking over.

Did anyone see Connors handball in a pack situation - outside of the hand and hit Mitch Morton, Morton dribbled it through for a goal from the boundary.
I cant believe the commentators didnt make comment.
Just keeping playing the kids.
Connors and Polo both put there head over the ball therefore they should play each week.

I saw that too and wondered the same thing, that was PURE CLASS. no look handball, threaded the needle and completely bamboozled everyone but Morton.
