That's a lot of money to spend on a bench player. Personally i'd prefer to just take a rookie instead. There's plenty of good non-GC midfield rookies available.I am thinking of having him as one of my emegencies - to start with - I think im too GC top heavy though - Im really not sure about Kerr.. going over his stats, hasnt played much footy at all in the past 3-4 seasons due to suspensions and injuries.

"Surely you can't be serious?"

Positive signs for West Coast star Daniel Kerr

DANIEL Kerr is back in full training but the Eagles won't take any chances with their star midfielder.
Kerr, who hasn't played since tearing his hamstring in Round 1 last year, will again be a spectator for Sunday's NAB Cup quarter-final clash with Gold Coast in Perth.
Although Eagles coach John Worsfold is hoping to play Kerr in at least one pre-season fixture, he said it wouldn't guarantee the 27-year-old a spot in the team for the club's Round 1 match against North Melbourne on March 27.
"If he gets a game in (this pre-season) that's great, he may get two in, we're not really sure yet," Worsfold said today.
"If he plays two practice games it doesn't mean he'll play Round 1.
"If we expect that we can only use him for half a game for Round 1, even after playing two (pre-season games) that may not fit with what we want to do.
Kerr recently rejoined the main training group and Worsfold was pleased with the 170-game veteran's progress.
I can see him averaging 80-90+ if the youngsters dont steal his spot first. (eg. Masten, Shuey, Gaff)
Nothing to do with other players. He just needs to not get injured

Or suspended![]()
You'd think that'd make him more likely to be suspended not less.Unlikely, his style of play attracts the watchfull eye of the MRP, hard to get away with anything these days.
