Has anyone in Adelaide heard of whether we are after Daniel Shell still as the WA press or media hasnt even brought up his name with all this farmer, mcpharlin and croad garbage. I think he would be an excellent aquisition to the club and Ben Holland can go and get f*$%#d for all i care, I wasnt that keen on swapping him for what they wanted or the money he wanted either, that means we will have room in the salary to entice our players (Stars Out Of Contract) to stay.
I think we should hotly pursue the following now we havent got Holland.
1 - CROAD, its not a done deal with him and anyone and we have a Vardy, Johnson & Eccles duo wnating to leave, hawthorn could use them better that #1 pick i reckon.

2 - SCHELL, He Is going to be a very good FF but he never got much of a chance till modra left, PLZ TRY GET HIM.

3 - BIZZELL, May come with the right trade, Sydney wont get Vardy as they are getting hall, he would be a good swap.

4 - EVERITT, If available I think he would be good for us not as a ruckman unless needed but as a CHF, can mark a ball and kick goals.

5 - DUNNO WHO ELSE, I think those players mentioned should all be sounded out and we should get one of them.

Well, it was reported over here in Adelaide that we're going after Everitt in a last ditch bid to snare a forward, though he's a better ruckman. I personally don't see why we need him, he's had a great year and can go forward with success, but there's not much doubt he's a better as a tap ruckman and we don't need that type of player. Plus his contract is worth more than $400,000 a year, which we'd have to honour and would not leave us with much room for next year, when a certain SA-born forward stuck in Fremantle, comes out of contract.

It was also reported that we're trying to get Schell, but Freo are playing hardball and we obviously don't want to give up too much for him. Bizzell is no longer a target as well. And I seriously doubt if we'd get Croad now, it seems he wants to go to Freo and if he does that may pave the way for us to get Schell.

Rumours

I cant believe some of the rumours on the AFL website, one says Waterhouse to Carlton, Sam Cranage to Crows and Brett Burton to the Dockers, what a load of crap, I mean if Fremantle got all the players that they have been said they have they would have a fine list for sure.
It started with hall, Croad, Mcpharlin, Farmer, Burton, Perrie, and a few others who I forgot.
Another ****ty rumour was that Perrie was being swapped for schell, yeah sure, perrie will stay, adelaide wouldnt do that and perrie wouldnt go because he has a better chance to have the CHF post next year.
Why arent we trying hard to get Waterhouse and or Schell as they are the only 2 left worth going for.
I cant believe how bad this trade week has been.
PLEASE GBET ON OF THE TWO MENTIONED CROWS?

I read a rumour that had us trading Vards to Melbourne for pick 20, with that pick being traded to Fremantle for Schell. This is reasonably feasible so you may get your wish.

I guess the rumours where not far from the truth in that we got the guy from Freo. I was at the game where we lost to to Freo and Schell didnt do a bad job on us.
