With the tigers in disarray and the new young guns on the block, i believe the highly skilled and exciting Danny Meyer will be given an opportunity to shine this yr. What r ur thoughts lads?

by all accounts hes been pretty impressive in training thus far and a chance of lining up friday nite, what happens after that depends on how his still maturing body can stand up to the vigors of senior AFL footy

would love to see him out there friday night

Im sure he will get a chance at some stage. he apparently was quite impressive in the intra, but that can always be deceptive. anyone know if he is in the side for friday?

not officially, but still a possibility. danny meyer is an excellent player for his size, he looks like a player that would take time to adapt to a higher level of footy. but i and many other people judged him wrongly. he looks as if he is ready and plays as if he's ready. but the body tells a different story as to most new draftees. but he is an outstanding kick and gets plenty of hardballs, certainly one to watch. ;)

All I can say is if he plays, it will be because he has earned his spot. If he'd been here last year he would play 22 games regardless of form.

Read the last couple of pages on the Kayne Pettifer thread or go to the "Tossers" thread on the Hawks board ...... then you will get an insight to the mind of Astro Boy .

anyone who bags his fellow supporters as that tool has should have his testicles removed ( if he had any ) , which he obviously hasn`t considering how insipid it is to throw insults and get abusive over a computer

Top marks for bravery

Now IDGAF, you DO realise that the post on the hawks site labelled "TOSSERS" was in regards to a post that YOU YOURSELF wrote? They were calling YOU the tosser. Not me. Do you really want everyone knowing that? LOL That Thread you wrote was so bad, that someone read it and decided to show others to laugh at it. Then they titled it TOSSERS

that post was just funny dude, thats all. comparing two coach's that haven't even coached ONE game for their respective clubs. Total waste of time.
If you even had a modicum of intelligence you would be able to see that it is about the job the two respecective coaches are doing at selling and marketing thier clubs .

But you are to busy slagging richmond supporters

Meyer also named in Wizard Cup squad

After nominating six potential Richmond debutants – Brett Deledio, Richard Tambling, Adam Pattison, Trent Knobel, Mark Graham and Troy Simmonds – on Tuesday, coach Terry Wallace has also named lightning quick midfielder, Danny Meyer in his squad for Friday night's opening Wizard Home Loans Cup clash against Collingwood at Telstra Dome.

Meyer was the 12th selection overall at last year's National Bank's AFL Draft and hails from Glenelg.

The Tigers have named Nathan Brown, an absentee at last week's intra-club clash because of hamstring tightness.

Collingwood will be missing perhaps only three players from its full-strength line-up for the clash, which starts at 7.40pm.

Skipper Nathan Buckley (hamstring) won't play until the start of the home and away season, while Tarkyn Lockyer (finger) and Blake Caracella (shoulder) don't have enough match fitness under their belts to be considered for selection.

Tom Davidson has also yet to resume match play after last year's knee reconstruction.

Rookie list players including Harry O'Brien and former NBL basketballer David Fanning have been named in the squad but are unlikely to play.

In the photo, who are the guys in the white shirts (apart from Meyer and Hartigan who I recognise).

Also, in the great tops, who is the guy behind Rodan. He looks tall but it could just be that he is standing behind Rodan
