Danny Meyer?

Just checking in on the Mock Footy Draft Page (http://www.footydraft.com/) this morning and was surprised to see Danny Meyer as our predicted #8 pick ahead of Ben Eckerman, who is now rated as the #14 pick.

Monfries excellent draft camp has obviously increased his value. He's predicted to be picked up by the Pies at #7.

What about Eckerman, however. Did he have a poor draft camp and vice versa...did Meyer have an impressive draft camp?

Interestingly, Benet Copping is predicted to be picked up by us at #24. Surely, we are not interested in Copping, otherwise, we'd have taken him with the father/son at #40.

I think I might avoid the mock page for a while, my small brain is starting to hurt.

From my limited knowledge, Meyer is a laconic, skillfull lanky type with a beautiful kick and heaps of upside but a bit lazy. Already have one of those (Jericho). But two mightn't be bad. Hentschell too is a bit like this.

I don't think Benet Copping would be eligible for father/son would he?? Not sure if Steve played 200 games for the Bays.

If this is true, why hasn't the Crows talked about picking this kid with their pick #40. This would be their first chance at a Father/Son pick from memory ?

Every other club seems to benefit from this, we've already missed the two Cornes boys as the AFL changed the rules too late.
