Lol some crazy contract $'s being thrown around here.

Firstly, stop quoting Rowie as he is a certified idiot! Fog is not on anywhere near $800ish per year... yet ;)

Sanders is also way off thinking he would have signed a 2 year extension at significant unders at $400 Max or under. Why would he do that when he is in demand?

WaynesWorld19 is closest to the pin imo with his $500k ish pa estimate.

However, we are likely to have adjusted (increased) the flow of his 2023 salary.

500minimum with performances clauses. If he kicks 60 goals he deserves to be compensated. He has bargaining power as other than tex(who will probably retire end of 2023) we don't have another tall dominating. Thilthorpe needs to start performing.

It's not a 2 year contract. It's a renegotiation of an existing contract, with a longer term. Who would have sought that? The club, not the player.

Considering this, there's not a snowballs chance in hell he's signed for less than $500k per annum for the next three years. He's locking in $$ for an extra two years, as opposed to seeing out his existing contract whilst on an upward trend and then letting the market decide. You don't do that for unders, sorry Sanders.

As always, like George, the opposite of this will be true

Lol, still doubling down that Fog signed up for $400k pa.

Keep it going as it's giving us all a great laugh as you keep digging that hole... ;)

I would have thought we'd have preferred a long term deal, not one that takes him to the edge of free agency though

Based on your warped perception of “unders” 😂😂😂😂😂

270 players earned at least $400k in 2021 which is about the top third of players, or the top 15 at each club. About 20% of players earn over $500k.

Find it hard to believe we'd have Fogarty ranked between 10 and 15 on our in terms of salary. It's not a deep list

If you think I’ve still got more to prove before you’re prepared to really pony up, fine, we’ll revisit this in only a couple on the doorstep of free agency
I dunno..I heard he wanted a long term deal but the coaches said nope..not until you get more than 13 possessions per game - it was a key performance indicator apparently:cool:
