Haha. They were both traditional. Total Eclipse Of The Heart was the song that all the drunk guys would sing on the bus home.

Eagle Rock has a longstanding tradition in a number of colleges around the country whereby everybody drops their pants when it starts playing.

I heard this Modjo track for the first time in a decade just yesterday. I hadn't even thought about it since back then, so it took me 30 seconds to place the song. Then the great memories flooded in. To me it is finishing Primary School, it was a great track from around the time we had Year 6 farewells and muck-ups.

I remember when Bloke came out in early 2000, there was a lunchtime where a majority of the guys in the grade crowded around the CD player and sang it together 2 times in a row.

Good 2000 memories. Friends Forever was also the big farewell song that year (although it felt a little forced to me).

Across the Night by Silverchair is 2003 early mornings on the high school bus.

Back to You by Bryan Adams is also a cherished family road trip from the xmas period of 1997. It was on the car radio like 3-4 times a day. Was one of my favourite songs in my pre-teen years for those reasons.

Could list dozens really but The Love Cats by The Cure reminds me of doing paper rounds in the summer of about 83. Loved being up before every body back then. Have always found it easier to think and do stuff when most everyone else is sleeping.
