Hey I'm looking at going to a dating agency I always hear they rip people off and all the bad stuff has anyone on here had any good experiences if you've dealt with them. I just don't know if i should fork out big bucks for something like that, I've always been against doing it but recently if you've read any of my posts I think its TIME for drastic action. Should I bother?

I dunno how old you are but why not just take your foot off the pedal for a while and just chill out a bit. Take a step back. Why the drastic need to have a boyfriend?

Why are you so determined to find a partner? It's amazing how many people think they need to be with someone just to validate their own existance.
Just do your own thing, be happy by yourself and you'll attract people anyway.

Isn't funny how desperate women virtually have a neon sign above their heads... and don't we just gravitate towards it.
Problem is with desperate women is that they may find someone but it'll be some jerk that uses them up for a bonk and then dumps, leaving them even more messed up.

I agree with Docker_Brat. You're more likely to find someone if you're being yourself at a place you like doing something you enjoy than putting on a fake false impression and playing mind games at a place you hate.

Online agencies are cool..u find someone, ask for their pic by email, see it, organise a meet up, then when u do meet u find out that the pic she showed you was taken 5 years ago when she was happy and content in her life and she weighed 20 kilos lighter.

Desperate?????????????????????????????????? Thanks heaps I don't think I am really I know someone who went to one and they are now engaged. If she could meet the right guy why couldn't I? I was merely just wondering if others had tryed them Obviously not YOU ALL WOULDN'T ADMIT TO BEING "DESPERATE". Just because you consider a dating agency doesn't mean you are desperate. Stop trying so hard would be my advice. Life's what happens when you're busy making other plans. If you occupy yourself doing the things you enjoy you'll meet people on the same level etc etc.
Trowling internet chatrooms looking for decent men is not the answer to your problems (no offence to any of the males here because I'm sure you're lovely)

Macca and BC maybe stop concentrating on the issue of "desperation" and get back on track with the topic.
Obviously many people see a dating agency as the last resort for someone who is desperate for a relationship.
But jeez, is everyone supposed to pretend they are experts at relationships and therefore seeking a bit of help is something to be ashamed of?
